The work of YG Design, the expert in designing packaging solutions for the beverage industry, was acknowledged once more during the Wine Design Challenge. YG’s clients are based in more than 16 different countries. Very few agencies in the world are capable of meeting the particular and complex requirements of clients from such diverse origins.
YG received awards for 3 projects carried out for clients from 3 different markets: Winery Barone Ricasoli (Italy), Bodegas Murviedro (Spain), and VSPT Wine Group (Chile).
The first Silver Medal in the Best Repackaged Wine Design category was awarded to YG’s restyling project for Rocca Guicciarda, Cantina Ricasoli’s flagship product. YG was able to update the product’s image while preserving the essence of this traditional wine.
The second Silver Medal was awarded in the Best Design for Sparkling Wine category for YG’s work for Luna de Murviedro (owned by the international Swiss group Schenk). Good coordination and close collaboration between the winery’s marketing department and YG resulted in an elegant, premium product with a high visual impact.
Also in the Best Design for Sparkling Wine category, YG received a Bronze Medal for Misiones de Rengo. Designing the image of this sparkling wine for a traditional Chilean brand posed a big challenge: to develop a high-impact image while preserving the strength of the history behind the brand.
Drinks International is the only magazine devoted exclusively to the global spirits, wines, and beers market. For the last 5 decades, DI has been one of the most widely read magazines worldwide. They have editorial independence, controlled circulation, and cover the most interesting market trends.
It is a great honor for YG Design and their team to receive these awards and stand alongside the best agencies in the world.
