Viña Misiones de Rengo launched their first wines in 2001. Their unique winemaking style and their distinctive packaging made an immediate impact in the market. Just after 5 years, they became the most widely sold brand of fine wine (over usd 2) in Chile -a country with more than 250 brands competing in this segment. Today they continue to hold this position. We created the image of Viña Misiones de Rengo’s sparkling wine. This challenge entailed a huge responsibility, since this market segment is saturated with products and we needed to come up with a distinctive packaging proposal. The result: an explosion of dots that surround the well-known cross, the brand’s unmistakable icon, with distinctive colors and a combination of printing techniques that appeal to consumers’ senses of sight and touch. The product was launched successfully and exceeded all expectations in all established objectives.
