We closed 2017 with a great piece of news: all our prizewinning projects were works made for large Spanish, Italian, Chilean, and Argentine wineries.
Veredictas is an expert in the creation and development of standards of excellence with over 20 years of experience in certifying and rewarding products, brands, and services in more than 25 countries in America and Europe. In Veredictas’ CLAP and Latampack Awards, YG got 10 distinctions in different categories: best bottle, best packaging for spirits, best illustration work, and best packaging in the “miscellaneous pack” category.
In the Miscellaneous Pack category, the 1st prize went to a Gift Box designed for Bodega Kaiken. In this category, YG also received 3 special mentions: under Packaging Design, the award went to Fressco, Concha y Toro’s new low-alcohol wine. Concha y Toro is one of the largest wineries in the world. The rest of the awards went to different works designed for Trade Marketing campaigns, a Valentine’s Day Case and the special collection of tin boxes designed for Dadá, Finca Las Moras (Argentina). In the category Best Packaging for Spirits YG received 2 awards for Kadabra, a product designed for Fecovita, and Luna de Murviedro, a sparkling wine of Bodegas Murviedro (Spain), which received multiple awards throughout 2017. As for CLAP awards, YG received several awards in the Best Bottle category: once more, Luna de Murviedro and Amaro 33 (developed for the Italian distillery Andrea Da Ponte). La Mascota Dark Bat Edition (designed for Grupo Peñaflor) won the CLAP prize to Best Illustration. In addition to this, 3 YG projects were acknowledged during the 10th edition of the International Design Awards (IDA): Amaro 33; Fuzion Alta (Bodega Zuccardi); and Rocca Guicciarda, a redesign Project for the famous Italian winery Barone Ricasoli—the oldest winery in Italy and the second oldest in the world. During this event thousands of products from over 60 countries were submitted to the jury of experts.
“More than 400 million bottles per year are sold with our labels all over the world. Being acknowledged by these prestigious entities signals we are on the right path. We are fully committed to our clients’ success”, said Gonzalo Yáñez, YG’s Sales Manager.
