The request was to develop a new wine brand aimed exclusively at the international market, particularly USA and Europa. We were also asked to use the name “Verne”, previously registered, making allusion to French novelist Jules Verne (1828–1905).
Additionally, we saw the need to transcend common references to the writer, bringing forth a unique and contemporary realm of imagery that would reflect the brand's spirit. We explored a variety of creative roads, all of them starting with the elements found in the author's narrations that evoked the thrill of travelling and a sense of adventure. As from these elements, we then made a series of collages, and the resulting selection moved on to the illustration stage. The result, after much care and attention to detail, was a disruptive, eye-catching, enticing range.
Verne Wines is a wine meant for those who know that drinking always entails a journey, and raising a glass always leads to a new adventure.
